What we wore – Mama and Vega #MirrorMyMummy

My Beastie boy keeps growing so fast, I feel like I’m buying him a new wardrobe every few weeks! At 12 months, he’s been in 18-23 month sizes for a few weeks now. It still feels funny buying boys clothes after three girls – plus I no longer have bags and bags of hand-me-downs so we really do have to buy everything. While I like to buy him clothes that are practical as well as bright and colourful, I don’t like to spend a fortune as he only wears things for a couple of months before he has outgrown them.

We recently updated his wardrobe with some great new pieces from George at Asda. They have some great pieces at really reasonable prices too – I love stripy tops for Vega, and this t-shirt was part of a 5 pack of colourful, striped t-shirts. We grabbed some jeans and some leggings, as well as this faux fur hoody and a new duffle coat – perfect timing as it’s finally getting chilly! I picked up a few new pieces for me at the same time, I was surprised at how great some of the womenswear is.

I’ve just had a massive wardrobe cull {more on this soon} and am in need of replacing a few essentials. Given that I’m still breastfeeding, this denim dress is perfect – with a button up front, I still have easy boob access {something that is vital!}. I also picked up some funky trousers, a new shirt and a couple of gorgeous tunic tops {this one and this one} – perfect for everyday wear.
