Goodbye 2015

goodbye 2015

2015 was a great year for us as a family. Our first year as a six-some we also moved our tribe to a fab new house! Here are a few of last year’s highlights…

January

I talked about sibling love and how fab my girlies were with their new brothers arrival! We hunkered down and enjoyed some quiet family time and I shared Vega’s birth story.

February

We ventured out to Llangollen for a lovely Sunday stroll, I shared my post-partum essentials and made these delicious Nutella Brownies!

March

I talked about good days and bad days, shared what was in my Nappy Bag, told the life lessons I’ve learnt from having a newborn and went on a family holiday to Bluestone and Baya turned SIX!

April

I talked about sleep tips for babies and breastfeeding essentials,, gave my wardrobe a spring make-over and talked about letting go of perfect.

May

Lola turned 12, the weather started to get nice enough for us to spend evenings in the park and Vega began weaning.

June

We had to pack up our old house and move to our new house. I made lots of yummy homemade babyfood for Vega, spent a lovely day by the river and talked about Motherhood and Isolation.

July

I shared my summer skincare routine, shared some sneak peaks into our new home, decided I needed to slow down a little and Vega turned 7 months old!

August

We were thinking about firsts for a last time, being a bit healthier with some smoothies did some baking and celebrated Kiki turning nine!

September

I discussed bedtime routines, posted a little tour of our new kitchen/dining room, reaveled a new hair ‘do made hidden greens chocolate milkshakes and elderberry syrup.

October

Celebrated the arrival of Autumn, talked about choosing joy and created some treasure baskets for my Beastie Boy. I took a trip to Bristol with Vega for a NOMADS evening, and we took the kiddos to the Pumpkin Patch.

November

Talked about Hygee, made a toy from an old t-shirt talked about lack of sleep, shared a peek into our day, we went skateboarding and made a Christmas Cake.

December

We went to see the Christmas lights in Liverpool, made Lavender Rose Bath Salts and Winter Warmer Bath Melts. I wrapped up warm for the cold weather, finally felt festive. We celebrated Christmas and Vega’s first birthday!

What a year! So grateful for this space to record all the adventures my little family has!
