If you’re beginning to think about Christmas {who isn’t} and love the idea of giving homemade gifts, then this is for you! I always plan to be organised and make things through the year, but it never happens. You can whip up a batch or two of these in half an hour tops, and not only do they look cute they’re a useful gift too!

I’ve made sugar scrubs before, but this time I thought I’d try out making some sugar scrub cubes. Well, actually sugar scrub gingerbread men! They make a great, handy alternative to a jar of sugar scrub – there is no chance of dripping water into your scrub every time you scoop some out with these! You could make any shape you like, I picked up these cute little gingerbread men in town and through they were perfect for Christmas gifting.

Sugar scrubs are a great remedy for removing dry skin, especially during these cold winter months. The sugar acts as an exfoliate and the almond oil replenishes moisture. If you’ve never tried a sugar scrub before you’ll be surprised by how soft your skin feels afterwards. Packaged up these would make a lovely gift, if you get your kiddo to help make them they would make a great present for their teacher.
