Life, Lately

kiki and baya fair

It’s taken me all day to have five minutes to write this… life lately has been stressful and just a *little* bit busy. We’re on the final countdown to moving house, 90% off our house is in boxes… we now have even less space to move around, and you have to side around boxes to get anywhere you want to be!

We get the keys a week tomorrow, the van is booked for the Saturday and Sunday and we’re desperately ticking off our to-do list{s}. I’m definitely feeling a little stressed out and overwhelmed right now… trying to orchestrate a house move whilst looking after four little people and working is a bit much!

We did make it to a fun day a couple of weeks ago, fun for the children though not so fun for us grown ups who had to spend a small fortune on rides and stalls! We’ve ventured out for a couple of picnics and some fun times in the garden too… the weather this week has been lovely. I’m really going to miss this garden, though I can’t wait to be in the new house already {and I’m sure you’re sick of me going on about moving…!!}

Tell me, what have you done lately?

    Nearly there – you’re on the home run now! I know how stressful moving is. I honestly think it’s the most stressful thing you can do (aside from dealing with illness, obviously). We moved twice in six months in 2013 and it was HARD. Back then I only had the one child to look after at the same time, so I can’t imagine how much juggling you’re having to do!

    House moves are SO stressful! No idea what it’s like with a baby (and three other children too). Hope it goes well and the new house is lovely x

    I can only imagine how busy life must feel – moving house is so stressful and I bet it will be amazing once you have settled in and nothing does beat bare feet with summer grass under your toes
