An evening in the park
The last few hours of the day can often be the most stressful. Everyone is tired, tempers are short and then the kiddos get this weird burst of energy after dinner right when I’m flagging the most. As soon as those clocks change in the spring, we make the most of the lighter evenings and head out to the park as many evenings a week as we can. Bikes or scooters come along, and a rug for Mama and the baby.

Miss Baya was feeling a little poorly over the weekend, both Friday and Saturday she fell asleep mid-afternoon, and woke up clammy and flushed, and was off her food. She was happy Saturday night to curl up on the picnic rug for a while, though she managed an ice lolly and a little play on the park.
Oh – and this was Lola’s ‘stop taking my photo’ face ha!!

May 28, 2015 at 12:59I’m really enjoying being able to get out and about in the evenings too. We’re planning a little trip down to Lyme Regis one day after school next week, it’s so lovely being so near the coast.
