Vega – twelve week update
TWELVE WEEKS?! How on earth did that happen?! Really though, time is speeding so fast, I want to slow it down and keep him tiny for as long as I can.
Vega
He enjoyed his first holiday last week, and was great on the long car ride… he pretty much slept most of the way!! Though by the time we were pulling into our destination he’d had enough and was ready to get out of his car seat and into his Mama’s lap.
He had a bit of a cold this past week, so we only took him swimming once – and he fell asleep two minutes after we got in the pool! I think the noise was too close to his white noise ha! He slept great on holiday too, we’re still on one night feed but it’s usually no longer than ten minutes. He’ll settle around 10pm depending on what time his last nap was, and is usually up for the day around 7am… the time of his night feed varies, sometimes is half past 1, one night it was 5am! Occasionally Papa will give him a bottle, if he wakes early but generally I’ll get up and feed him.
Breastfeeding is still going great, evenings he cluster feeds, in the day it’s a little more spaced out, though some days he wants little and often. And I’m happy with that. I’ve always nursed on demand, no sticking to feeds every 2 hours, I’m a big believer in feeding when he wants, whether it’s for hunger or comfort. He’s changing and growing so fast, so many smiles and happy faces when he sees his sisters. I can see him watching them and taking in every little thing they are doing!
We’re loving life with this little man, he’s such a little sweetie and I’m so exited to see him grow and change {just not too fast please!}

March 23, 2015 at 22:08His little face! Love his clothes, too – really great to see boys things that aren’t boring. It’s funny about him finding his voice as Flo is so noisy and such a squawker, do you think it comes of not being the first child and having to shout louder? x

March 24, 2015 at 12:48He’s gorgeous, and well done you with the on-demand breast feeding, having a baby made me realise I was far too much of a control freak to cope with that. x

March 24, 2015 at 14:53Oh, Polly! He’s beautiful! I can’t believe he’s three-months-old already! Not a newborn any more. I love that he’s making himself heard too. I always think the three-month mark is a great time for a family holiday.

March 24, 2015 at 19:47Ah I can totally see a resemblance now to your girls! Especially in those last few pictures! He sounds like a dream baby, it’s really not helping my broodiness!
