Nuna LEAF review

nuna LEAF review

When I was pregnant with Vega, I started looking around for a baby chair. We always had a fairly basic bouncy chair for the girls, but there are so many different designs now. We stumbled across the Nuna LEAF in our search and immediately fell in love with it. A Dutch design, it looks so much nicer than many baby chairs that are on the market, I also loved that it sways side to side without batteries.

Vega’s been testing it out for the past couple of weeks, and it’s safe to say he loves it. While I’m more than happy to snuggle him most of the day {and if not me, then he’s usually on Kiki’s knee!}, I do need somewhere safe he can sit from time to time. He’s generally happy to sit in his LEAF whilst we’re having dinner.

The seat is suitable from birth, right up to 60kg – meaning it can be used for several years. Kiki and Baya have both tried it out too, and they think it’s pretty great too! As well as swaying, the seat locks into a stationary position. This past week, Vega has been enjoying the toy bar that goes with the chair, he’s fascinated by the little hanging toys.

We love the look of the chair – it isn’t something garish that you feel the need to hide away, it’s quiet as it’s not battery powered, and comes in a range of different colours. The seat covers {which by the way are organic cotton} are easily removed and washable – a vital with little babies! I also really like the safety strap – it’s quick and easy to fasten and undo.

The seat itself is at a perfect angle for sleeping, playing and people-watching. Vega certainly is happy in his, sat in the living room where he can see everyone busy around him. It’s certainly more on the pricey side of baby chairs, but I think it’s great value for money given you’ll easily get a couple of years use out of it. This is one baby product I’ll definitely be recommending to other Mama’s-to-be.

This is so stylish. Vega looks very comfy. All my children had bouncers and once they had grown out of them they became the cats chair!

I love the grey neutral colours, some many baby things are so garish and I love that it could fit in your home without standing out! Looks really snug and comfy too!
