Vega – 3 week update
These
He’s so much more alert now when he’s awake in the daytime, and he’s pretty strong – he can hold his head up pretty well. He’s in the middle of *another* growth spurt – yesterday he pretty much nursed all day long. This boy sure can eat! His sleep patterns seem to be settling into some kind of routine for now… he nurses lots all day, then just 3 times or so at night which is not so bad.
Kiki is still my biggest helper this week – she’s great at comforting him if he’s crying and watching him while I’m making dinner or sorting someone else out – I’d be lost without her around! Papa has been giving him a bottle of milk in the middle of the night this past week, meaning I can skip one night feed and catch a few extra zzzzzz’s… as much as I love nursing, and really don’t mind the night feeds, it is nice to have a little help on one of them!

January 20, 2015 at 18:11Oh my, what a scrumdiddlyumptious boy he is! I never bought newborn clothes and put mine straight into slightly baggy 0-3 mths onesies – trying to be economical! Love his name :)

January 21, 2015 at 20:06so lovely that Kiki wants to be so involved. It must be such a help when there are siblings around to chip in and amuse a newborn. Wilf was the same with size! He was never in newborns and was out of 0-3 at around a month, these guzzly boys hey? What a cuttie!! x
