52 Weeks of Gratitude – Week Thirty-Five
*
* Netflix – at that 3.30am feed some mindless TV is just what I need
* Morning snuggles – Baya comes through to give me and Vega some loves most mornings – one of my favourite times of the day {and makes up for the 7am starts!!}
* Gifts from friends… including one for me, not just the baba
* A successful days solo parenting while Papa is at college!
* Homemade soup – butternut squash and sweet potato – so delicious!
* Vega has put on 12oz since he was born! So grateful our breastfeeding journey is off to such a great start
Slummy single mummy
January 9, 2015 at 10:34I do wonder how my experience of parenting might have been different if I had had the internet! When my youngest was born 20 years ago I didn’t even have a mobile phone, let alone the internet, and even 12 years ago my phone could only text. Those hours spent lying with a baby attached to my boob might almost have been pleasurable with Netflix!

Adventures of a Novice Mum
January 10, 2015 at 11:46So pleased to have finally landed on this linky page. I’ve come across your linky over and over again on twitter and thought i’d like to join!
Lovely to have mummy presents and not baby presents, hey! I’m also so pleased for you that your breastfeeding journey has started well. There really is nothing like a good start to a breastfeeding journey; it’s a massive ‘one less thing to worry about’ at the start of another huge life change.
I hope to link up soon.

January 12, 2015 at 03:46I remember how good taking the bath alone felt. And the mindless TV… I couldn’t really concentrate on much anything but “real” TV.
