Finally it’s done!!! Feels like forever since I started clearing out this little space for Beastie! It was painted before the summer, and sat waiting…and waiting… and waiting to be finished. We finally got around to getting a piece of carpet, I got the woodwork painted, made his mobile and it started coming together.

I knew I wanted a few pieces to decorate his walls – the banner {which reads Nos Da Cariad – Welsh for Goodnight Love}, the Fur Neil Moon Poster and the gorgeous little postcards all came from This Modern Life and the star wall stickers came from Bloobry. Baya and I had great fun putting them on the wall!

I had a moses basket that all of my girls slept in, and one of my nieces. Unfortunately it came back from friends a little worse for wear. I was in need of something for his nursery that he could sleep in safely for the first few months. Thankfully, George Home stepped in and sent us this gorgeous Obaby Swinging Crib. I was so excited! It’s gorgeous, and I’m hoping he enjoys sleeping in it very much. It arrived on Friday, and I got it made up on Saturday – couldn’t wait ;) It was easy to make, and I love the Bear detail on the ends. They also sent us these two gorgeous blankets and a nappy stacker {that matches the stars on the wall perfectly!} The blankets are perfect as most of what I have are very pink – poor Beastie needs a few boy coloured things.

It’s nice to have a space sorted for him, just a little nook off our bedroom, but the perfect place for a baby to sleep {lots I hope}.

Oh how lovely – we haven’t really managed to do anything for R as she doesn’t have her own dedicated space – I’m hoping that we will be able to do so when we get a bigger house.

It looks really lovely – quirky and beautiful but not too cutesy – just the sort of thing I love!

Aww that’s so sweet! I had a swinging crib for my older two, I love them. Sadly I couldn’t fit two in my room so the twins top and tailed in a cot bed for their first year!
