Maternity Series – Week 29

maternity series week twenty nine

It’s funny when the bump is yours, that you don’t notice it getting bigger – it’s only looking back over these photos that I can see how it has grown! Another week ticked off, only 11 to go! Getting so much closer now – crazy to think I’m almost at 30 weeks already. Feeling good still – it was nice having a weeks holiday, the swimming was great, the only thing was not being allowed on the slides/cascades at Center Parcs – that will have to wait till next time!

I have a few things I want to get ticked off the list this week ready for baba’s arrival. A few odds and ends to buy, and the finishing touches to the nursery. I have another five weeks before I have a midwifes appointment again, and by that point we’ll be getting ready for my homebirth eeep!

The girlies have been loving being able to feel/see him moving… there’s lots of talk of what they’ll do with him once he’s here {most seems to involve dressing him up in princess dresses ha!}.

Sounds like you had a great time in Centre Parcs. Your bump is looking small compared to some. You are so compact!

It’s such a great idea to write these posts and letters to your baby. What fun it will be for him to read when he has grown up.

My daughter used to like dressing my son in a pumpkin fairy outfit. My husband wasn’t very impressed but I thought he looked very cute!

Glad you had lots of chill out time on holiday. I enjoyed swimming the most when I was pregnant – the only time you feel weightless! :)

Aww this is making me broody! I want another baby but having four with my youngest, now being at school I don’t know if it’s the right thing to do. Plus my daughter, who is 9 gets upset if I talk about having more… she is dead set against it, which is strange as for ages she wanted me to. Your bump looks lovely xx
