Maternity Series – Week 23

Maternity Series - Week Twenty Three

I’m not sure if I have a particularly large bump, but lots of people keep asking me when I’m due… 17 weeks to go and I’m so impatient! I’m still feeling good… tired, but that’s down to a trip away and having run out of my Spatone {ooops}. A few days and I’ll be feeling better I’m sure.

Little Man is getting a lot more active. I can feel him kicking and wriggling much more this past week. He’s sitting really low down, which the girls didn’t do, sometimes I’m feeling really uncomfortable already. I have a feeling if he doesn’t move up a little, by the last few weeks I’m really going to be doing rtetracyclineuse.com that pregnant waddle walk!

Other than that, everything is going smoothly. I’ve picked up a fair few pieces of clothes {I’ll blog about that soon}, finished knitting his first jumper, and collected a few other things that I need. I need to get my moses basket mended, as I loaned it to friends and it came back broken. I don’t really want to have to buy another as all three girls and one of my nieces slept in it.

dear baby - week twenty three

That’s it for this week, I don’t really have much to update! Feeling fine, no cravings and no problems {other than having to pee in the middle of the night!!}. You can read previous pregnancy posts HERE.

I think you have a lovely neat bump, when my sister was pregnant with my nephew her bump was huge and right round, whereas yours is nicely placed x

You look great, is it too much of a cliche to say glowing?! Hope he doesn’t drop much more – that pregnancy waddle is so uncomfortable!

You look gorgeous! I had Spatone as well when I was expecting Daisy – that stuff was a lifesaver! Loving all the plants in your garden as well :-)

Looking great! I’m pretty sure I walked with a waddle from about 20 weeks second time round, I used to get really bad groin pain! x

    Hi Polly,

So happy to hear all is going well with you and bump. When I was expecting ‘P’ I was “all out front” as well, apparently it’s a boy thing, as I’m only five foot nothing I looked as if I might topple over at any minute, or as hubbs put it “a barrel on legs”. Charming

    Luv

You can really tell from your bump that he is low down in your belly. How strange that the girls didn’t do that?! x

Love that you’ve already knitted his first jumper! Have you blogger about it? If not I’d love to see. Some of my favourite baby clothes of E’s were the hand knitted ones by grans and various relatives x

You look beautiful! It’s great to hear your updates on the approx size and weight at the stage of pregnancy too, it makes it easier to visualise your tiny bubs wiggling about. I so miss my bump! x
