Anglesey
Beach!!
I don’t think there is very much that can beat a day on the beach, the freedom to run around and just have fun. There’s a lot to be said for being far away from ‘real life’ no computers, no internet, no tv’s. Just nature. I think we could all have happily packed up and moved their. I’ve always wanted to live by the ocean, it’s such a magical place and so peaceful. Though I’m not sure I’d ever get any work done if I did live there!
We walked back to their holiday cottage for dinner {and more cake} before spending the rest of the evening on the beach again. We finally left them {to lots of ‘I don’t want to go homes!} about half past nine, by the time we pulled into our road it was almost midnight, Baya had slept most of the way home and the rest of us were practically asleep on our feet!
First beach trip of the year – we all want to go back very very soon!

June 26, 2014 at 17:41Looks amazing. We haven’t been to the beach yet this summer, can’t do it this weekend thought with all the rain forecast! x

June 26, 2014 at 18:39This looks idyllic – it really was a turquoise sky and your beautiful photos really capture the day. I know it’s a cliche but every time we take our kiddos to the beach we always end up saying why can’t we live by the sea?

June 26, 2014 at 20:09What stunning shots! I’ve never been to Angelsey – although I grew up in south Wales, Dolgellau is the furthest north I’ve ventured. Your pictures do make it look tempting!

June 27, 2014 at 12:43What absolutely stunning photos! I particularly like the one of your little girl with the fishing net. As I get older, I’m more and more in favour of a beach with pebbles too ;)

June 28, 2014 at 19:28Lovely pics and all that blue sky! We’ve had a trip to Anglesey pencilled in for over a year now to see in the in-laws but somehow never quite make it. I think this post has made me think again! x

June 29, 2014 at 10:15I feel a trip to Anglesey will be scheduled for this summer. It’s not that far for us at all and I have not been for many years. Your pictures are beautiful and really capture the beach atmosphere.

June 29, 2014 at 13:06I can’t wait til we get to the beach. We plan on going often in the summer holidays seeing as we’re not going on a proper holiday this year. Lots of day trips with fish and chips and fresh prawns are on the cards for us :)

June 30, 2014 at 23:50We went to Penzance a couple of weeks ago and it finally felt like summer, being on the beach. I love how excited children are to be with their friends. Makes me realise how antisocial I can be sometimes!
