We haven’t had our first BBQ yet this year because we’re still trying to clean up the garden and patio but hopefully we’ll get one soon! Great list. Enjoy the festival and beach :)
What a lovely idea! I have to say having my little girl last week has been my number 1 thing at the moment! that and watching my little boy become an amazing big brother has left me beaming with pride for my 2 little munchkins!

The food is something we should be so grateful for – especially in a place like Australia where soils naturally limit humans to a vegetarian diet and one generally extremely hard and starchy (hard seeds). It is a story that always interests me how people who fast constantly view food – there was a book titled ‘To Love Fasting – the Monastic Experience’ that I saw many years ago on Amazon but never read, and ‘Green Sisters: A Spiritual Ecology’ by Sallie McFarland Taylor that is quite interesting in this respect if in environments much more fertile and less representative of geological history.
Festivals are something that one can be grateful for – especially as someone whose life is so, so lonely much of the time – and also being able to go into a park which is impossible for someone of my mass. As a younger adult, I loved to play on swings that was designed for boys a third my mass even then, but now I cannot play on most because they will not fit my buttocks!
