52 Weeks of Gratitude – Week Two

clematis

This week’s gratitude list:

1. Being met at the train station after a weekend away – was so happy to see those faces!
2. Secrets ;)
3. Fantastic opportunities that have come my way this week
4. This kitten – he’s absolutely bonkers!
5. Lazy mornings
6. A new rug at last for the little girls room, it’s pretty and hardwearing and hides the awful carpet – perfect :)
7. Cinnamon Raisin fruit bread – toasted with butter, it’s my favourite thing to eat this week
8. Real letters through the letterbox from lovely friends
9. Catching up with friends
10. Early nights… I’m exhausted and have really been appreciating getting my head down earlier than normal!

What are you grateful for this week?

Oh gosh, loads of things this week – my husband, mostly. When he’s away, I appreciate every single thing he does, basically. And we were both so pleased to see him when he came back.

Love the camelia picture – some of my favourite flowers.

This is a lovely project and a great way to be thankful for the little things you usually take for granted. This week I am thankful for the sun and being able to see my children having a great time playing in the garden together :)

Lovely list – I’m grateful for my seeds that have all germinated, the beautiful sunshine, and my lovely garden, where I go in the evenings to regain some sanity once the kiddos are in bed!

I love the idea of this post – so important to remember the little things in our week that get forgotten. I’m grateful for a beautiful morning walk in the sunshine and the rhododendrons that we spotted along the way – really uplifting. I think I will join in on this little project next year. Is it a linky do you know?

Lazy mornings are not always possible with hyper kittens (and children) but I agree they are both things to be grateful for. I believe an attitude of gratitude is essential to ones wellbeing, so good on you :-)
