Fun at the Fair

dogems

Last night we took the kiddos to the fair. We haven’t been for ages, and they were desperate to go! Kiki had a friend over for a sleepover, so she came along too. The fair can get pretty expensive with three {four} kiddos wanting to ride every ride a zillion times… thankfully this one has ‘mad fridays’ where you can buy a wristband for £5 and they can ride as much as they like all evening! Perfect!

The girls had so much fun on the rides… I’m *that* Mama who watches and holds the coats. As much as I’d love to join in, since having the kiddos, fairground rides make me so ill :/

After the fair, the kiddos had pizza and chips and watched Frozen. Mine have seen it a zillion times already and can pretty much recite the whole movie! Poor Papa had to escape the crazy girlies and snuck off to the pub for an hour. I remember loving having friends sleepover when I was little, it’s so nice to see my girlies having friends round too…

We have gymnastic classes this afternoon, and then I’m hoping the rest of the weekend is sunny so I can get outside and do some gardening. We have a sick chicken right now, which I’m honestly not expecting to live much longer… I think there will be a few tears shed when she dies. We’re planning on getting some new hens to add to our brood in teh next few weeks, I’m tempted to add some ducks into the mix too!

What do you have planned for your weekend?

Oh wow looks like they all had a lot of fun – and it’s great that they have mad fridays otherwise I imagine it could get very expensive.
    Great family day :)

Hi, just found your blog, recommended by Fritha and Adele, what a lovely blog and lovely family. Our weekend was nice, boys had their activities Sat am and then pm we went and put coats of varnish on our new wooden floors (moving house in one week). Today I went to church this am, then we went to the cinema this afternoon to watch Rio 2.

The fair looks like a blast! I too am the mama who watches from the sidelines. The rides don’t make me sick, I just don’t really enjoy rides that much! There are a couple exceptions, but mostly I just love to watch.
