Happy Weekend guys! I don’t know about you but I’m always glad when Saturday rolls around! Though Saturdays are still pretty busy for us – today Lola is volunteering at the Museum and the other two have gymnastics this afternoon. MY fingers are crossed for a sunny weekend again.

It’s been another busy week, I’m working on a new project that got put on the backburner last autumn, almost ready to release it! Hence my messy office above while I’ve been photographing, editing and listing! I did spend yesterday doing some decluttering – three bin bags full of rubbish and two bags for the charity shop {as well as a big bin bag full of clothes that the girls have outgrown waiting to be sorted out!} Spring really must be in the air as I feel like giving my house a whole overhaul and good clean out. Some good tunes on vinyl always help the cleaning and organising along {and help with working too!} I’ve been listening to Cat Steves, Neil Young, Mamas & Papas and The Band this week.

When the sun comes out, nothing beats eating outside. For one, it means there is less mess to clean up off the floor ;) Meals out on the decking, or garden picnics are so much fun, somehow the food always tastes better when you eat it outside! We got sent some of this new Iza Pearl Garden Party Cha Cha range… funky floral patterns and beautifully bright colour on melamine plates and bowls. Perfect for eating al fresco {and perfect when you have small children who are likely to drop things!}. I’m loving these and am looking forward to them brightening up our mealtimes over the summer!

I’m thinking of a walk tomorrow if it’s nice… maybe to the river or a walk in the woods. It’s been far too long and we are all in need of an outdoor adventure! What do you have planned for the weekend?

The turntable’s quite simple but not unattractive – it’s certainly an unusual design for a turntable!

I like sometimes to eat outside – and did it as we had the first rain in a while after a hot, windy day when I had to cycle.

Gymnastics is a fascinating topic – it’s interesting that your children are doing it! Do they really like the sport or is it recreational?

Sounds like a perfect Saturday. I love and need a clear out too! I’m off out with my sisters tonight then a (hungover!) tea party tomorrow. Otherwise, I would have been visting a lighthouse as I feel I NEED to visit one! lol xxx

I love the photo of the bowls – hoping it’s related to your secret project! I’m planning a huge clearout this week too – I’ve got so many clothes that never get worn, and loads of old things to list on eBay. Hopefully make a few much-needed pennies!

I love Cat Stevens – I grew up on Tea for the Tillerman – such a beautiful voice and so calming – also love Neil Young – great album. Looks like you had a lovely week and I love your pretty laptop :)

Nothing better than vinyl to motivate you into tidying. :)
