Our Trip to Bristol
Just
After an early start to catch our train on Monday, we made it to Bristol by lunchtime. We headed straight to the YHA right in the town centre to drop off our bags, before heading to Be at Bristol to meet up with a few ladies and their kiddos for a coffee and a natter. After talking to them lots online, it was lovely to finally meet in person!
We visited the Bristol Musueum and Art gallery {twice!} found a fun playpark, walked out to Clifton and across the suspension bridge, went to Clifton Observatory and Caves, took a look at the shops on Park Street, visited St Nicks Market, ate some delicious Falafel King, and visited M Shed with Fritha and the cute Wilf.
Two full on days left us exhausted but in love with the city… the kiddos and I didn’t want to leave. It’s such a lovely place, and there is so much to do. I think it would be a fab place to love… we just have to convince G now! I have to say, after a couple of weeks of traveling, I am glad to be home… hoping for a few chilled days to recover and catch up on work now! Here are a few highlights from our trip.

March 6, 2014 at 13:59Ah it looks like you had an amazing time. I love Bristol, I lived there for a couple of years after uni. There’s so much going on there, and it seems like it’s great for families too. We’ve only been once since Ebony was born, but loved making the most of the city’s green spaces. x
