Highlights of 2013

One of the best things about blogging, is having a record of our lives. It was so nice being able to look back over a years worth of posts to put this together, to remember all the things we have done, big things and small. I know that in years to come, I shall treasure this collection of our days together. Here are some of my highlights from the past year….

January

I shared my goals for the coming year and also
my Word of the Year.

I posted a recipe for DIY Lotion Bars

And we played in the snow

February

We got three baby chicks!!

This ol’ blog moved to a new home

I dyed my hair back to red

We celebrated Imbolc

March

I celebrated my birthday and so did Baya!

We took some walks in the country and enjoyed some fresh air

Spring arrived!

April

We took a trip back to visit family

I enjoyed the simple life

We went to the fun fair

Our garden started growing

May

I talked about the importance of Gratitude

We went down to the woods

Miss Lola turned TEN!!!

I redecorated the kitchen

June

We said goodbye to our butterflies

Made paper

Went in pursuit of happiness

Loved my kiddos deeply

Did a family outfit post

July

Made shrinkie dinks!

Went to the seaside

Chopped wood!

Spent days by the river

Remembered to live in the moment

August

Made paper boats

Kiki turned seven

Went to visit my sister in Kent

Went to Camp Bestival!

September

The kiddos and I had a girlie night in

We found beauty in the ordinary

I shared my recipe for peppermint and rosewater sugar scrub!

Celebrated Papa’s birthday

October

Shared my story of blogging and friendship

Talked about the importance of self care when you are sad

Redecorated the little girls room

Drank lots of Hot Spiced Apple Juice

Got to hold owls AND feed horses!

November

We went to Liverpool

I shared a small part of my owl collection

We went back home to visit family again, including my brother who lives in America!

I talked about Work, Mama-hood & Balance

December

We put up our Christmas Tree

We visited the Winter Wonderland
