Around Here

Hey! Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was busy but fun, the sun shone and it was warm for a late September weekend. Saturday, as always was taken up with various groups {but that means I get plenty of knitting time while sitting waiting for kiddos!}

Sunday we spent in the garden. Cleaning animals out, digging over the veggie beds ready for winter, tidying around, planting some spring bulbs, making a new roof for the woodstore and starting to chop the logs ready for winter fires. We popped out in the middle to have Sunday Lunch in a local pub!

We’re up and on early this morning {well, mama is} waiting for the workmen to arrive. They are putting some insulation in the little girls room, getting it warmed up and damp-proof before the cold,wet weather arrives. Which means there room had to be emptied – leaving a giant stack of boxes and bags in my room :/ Who’d have thought two girls could have quite so much stuff in one bedroom?! I’m re-decorating both the kiddo rooms this week, fresh coat of paint to brighten them up and I am working on a few mini projects for their rooms too. Hopefully by the next week they’ll be finished and we can show you the final result.
