Reading: I’ve just started up Folk Medicine, I picked it up a while ago at a charity shop and only just got around to reading it. I’ve just finished reading a couple of fiction books, something that doesn’t happen nearly enough, Jezebel and Delilah both by Eleanor De Jong.

Watching: I’m not much of a TV girl, but every now and then a series will get me. Earlier in the year I watched Downton Abbey, last night I started watching Orange is the New Black. Have you seen it? I watched the first couple of episodes and so far so good. I’ll watch a show or a movie if I’m sat knitting or sewing inside in an evening, any other recommendations of what I should be watching?

Anticipating: Camp Bestival! Two weeks to go, we can’t wait! I almost have everything together and sorted, five people camping for four nights need a lot of stuff! We’re hoping it stays dry while we’re under canvas. I’m excited about seeing The Levellers play, it’s been years since I’ve seen them live.

Eating: Salad. So much salad, it’s far too hot to be cooking or even eating hot food. I’ve been living off salad the past few weeks. My favourite – salad leaves, tomatoes, radish, beetroot, spring onion, peppers, dressed with a splash of extra virgin olive oil, a splash of balsamic vinegar and a dashing of lime juice. Delicious.

Thinking about: Life, love… the plans we have, the things we want to do. How lucky we are to be living the life that we do. Friends, the good and bad sides of the internet. How grateful I am for all that I have, that I get to stay home with my kiddos. I’ve been thinking about blogging a lot lately, how this space has changed and evolved over the past few years, all the friendships it has brought me and some fabulous opportunities.

Planning: Our Craft Party next week, the girls were super excited when the box of goodies arrived. Our theme’s are Ponies and Treasure – our box had lots of crafty goodies to make, such as ponies to paint {you can bet Miss Baya was excited at those!!} There are also extra craft sets for prizes and party bags, as well as stickers, cakes {yum} party plates and cups… it’s going to be a great party! We’re starting to make some plans for party food in keeping with the themes… we’re thinking treasure map pizzas!

That picture is such a lovely summer memory.
Those books look great I will put them on my list. Right now I am reading “Tell the wolves I’m home” I love it so far.
Love the Abbey and just started watching Orange is the New Black , like it a lot. I also loved The House of Cards and The Fall on Netflix.
In the summer I like cold pasta salad with a bunch of veggies and fruit too.
I recently wrote two guests posts. I am not sure if its the right move but I dont hope to be popular but maybe some traffic to my shop. Most of the time I have no idea what i’m doing, But I do it for me no one else.
Where did you get these pony boxes. My little girl is turning 5 soon and wants a pony theme. Would love this!

Hello Polly! I have been a reader of your blog for over two years now and I have never left a comment(I really don’t know why). I just wanted to say that I always enjoy reading your blog..you are such an inspiration to me. I have a 3 year old daughter and I have been thinking about homeschooling her when she gets a little older. Everytime that I read your blog, I always feel a little more inspired! Hope that you and your family have a great weekend! :)
