horsey horsey >>>>

this little miss is horse crazy. so was i when i was her age. i used to spend most of my life at the stables, helping out so i could ride for free. the thing she asked most wanted for her birthday? a horse!! i’m not sure we can manage a real one right now – as much as i would love one too we just don’t have enough land… one day!

until then she’s quite happy to make do with pretend ones…  these cuties are from schleich, we have quite a few of their animals already. they’re realistic and pretty cute… they’re study too, we’ve had some since lola was little and they’re still going strong. baya was so excited to get these braided mane horses – they’ve all been named and introduced to the ones she already had!!

we’ve a crazy busy week this week, i’ve a tonne of work to try get done, we’re off to the zoo tomorrow as a pre-birthday treat for baya, then visiting friends on friday and a home ed group on friday. and most importantly baya’s birthday on saturday!

sunday we travel back to my mum’s ready for my grandma’s funeral…. it’s going to be a long week! i’m hoping next week brings a bit more peace :)
