i started to make this petticoat months ago, made the actual skirt and cut the strips for the ruffles… then i forgot about it! i finally finished it off on wednesday night and boy i love it! it’s so cute worn under a skirt or dress, i love seeing the ruffles peeking out! the blue skirt on top i have had forever, it’s comfy and just perfect. the cardigan, vest and t-shirt were all thrifted as was the beaded necklace.

i’m still full of cold, trying to take it easy and not do so much. not easy as a self-employed mama – i always feel like i need to be working constantly. my mum has arrived, keeping the kiddos occupied at least for me ;)

i’m loving my hair still, i haven’t gotten around to putting a redder hair dye on, perhaps next week. the pink is ok for now.

i’ve had a pile of custom bracelets and necklaces to make this week {thankyou!} also, code ‘getitquick’ gets you a huge 50% extra off all sale items. they will be discontinued after the weekend – so now’s the time to grab a bargain.

Oxidizing agents are usually hydrogen peroxide, and the alkaline environment is usually provided by ammonia. The combination of hydrogen peroxide and the primary intermediate causes the natural hair to be lightened, providing a “blank canvas” for the dye. Ammonia opens the hair shaft pores so that the dye can actually bond with the hair and speeds up the reaction of the dye with the hair.-‘
