loving this new petticoat i made myself last night!

listening to: filthy dirty south – the new album from rising appalachia. so in love with this! their voices are so mesmerizing.

feeling: pretty crappy… i have a head cold and i’m feeling sorry for myself! my nose is all stuffy and my head feels like it’s full of cotton wall :(

doing: getting ready for my mum to come visit! she arrives today for the weekend. we havent’ seen her since december so we’re all pretty stoked for her to come.

reading: re-reading the red tent for the zillionth time and also flicking through john seymours the complete guide to self-sufficiency [again}. if you haven’t read the red tent – get it now! sooooo good! the john seymour book is a great guide to growing your own veg, keeping livestock and being self-sufficient {duh} i’ve planted the first of this years crops and i have some seeds started inside. reading this book makes me wish even more to live on a farm!

laughing at: our new baby chicks… they are so cute and funny – good job as they are also very messy ;) and i keep telling them to quit pooping in their water……

watching: i’m not really a ‘watcher’ but i did watch ‘going the distance’ the other night in bed, i only seem to watch a movie when i’m sick and can’t do anything else! it was pretty cute though. i might try and catch some of the second series of call the midwife with my mum over the weekend too.

what are you doing ‘currently’???

Sorry to hear you’re poorly, just getting over my cold which was a present from myson, in last week’s half term.
Soooo cute those chicks. Currently I’m just off to load the washing machine – “such fun”!

ps: I’ll try and send a couple of photos with the jewellery I bought from you, thing is, I’m not that much of a whizz kid on computers etc., Have a lovely weekend with your Mum.

Currently eating lemon curd (… your own recipe!) and watching the Lorax with Gaia which always makes me cry. Also feeling crappy, another honey lemon and ginger tea calling me thinks :) Red Tent & Self Sufficiency guide are two of my fav reads and also head over heals in love with Rising Appalachia … just waiting till tomorrow which is pay day so I can buy filthy dirty south :) Sending healing wishes and always with love X

Sorry to hear you are feeling icky, it has been a rough start to the year with so much sickness going around. Hope you are on the mend soon. I LOVE your petticoat, so pretty! I am currently battling the dreaded stomach flu that is going around, hopefully it will be all gone by the weekend.
