9 years ago today, we
eloped to Gretna Green. We told no-one and snuck off for a secret
wedding :) It was one of the best and most romantic weekends of my
life….. one day I’d like to go back, and take the girls with us to
see where we got married.

We’d only been together
6 months when we got married, and it came at the tale end of a very
difficult period in my life. It marked the passing of my old life,
and the start of a whole new chapter… little did we know, that two
weeks after getting married, we’d learn that Lola was on her way!

A giant chocolate cake is baking in the oven as I type this – and we’re getting an Indian Take-away tonight. Then it’ll be wine and a movie once the girls are in bed :)
